We are starting FREE Eye Clinics at the hospital which will run from 9:00am till 4:00pm on Monday – Saturday. The eye checkup, treatment and glasses will all be provided completely free of charge.

COVID-19 has taken the whole world in its grip and the coronavirus disease is claiming more and more lives everyday across the globe. Cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have also been confirmed in PAKISTAN and several lives have been lost. There is no cure or vaccine which can provide protection against the deadly coronavirus and the best precaution is to stay indoors to stop the spread of infection.

Bewal International Hospital has taken the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. All staff members have been provided the safety equipment and instructions on how to stop the spread of possible infections. The hospital is fully functional and will keep providing the medical services as normal.

Our 6th free Hernia mission has finished with great success. Overall 81 procedures were performed on 76 patients. The huge credit goes to the international team (surgeons and anesthetists) who have traveled from England and Australia to come to Bewal International Hospital and made this happened. Thanks to all who supported this good cause.

5th international hernia mission finished with great success. We did 75 operations including one open cholecystectomy, patients included children, adults male and female coming around 20/30 mile radius from Bewal Hospital. May Allah swt give speedy recovery to all those who were operated and big rewards to everyone who support Bewal international hospital(BIH). A big thanks to visiting team from England and Turkey, this good work will continue with further expansion to international cataract camp hopefully in the near future. A day trip to Islamabad at the end of mission was very entertaining and I do hope visiting surgeons and anesthetist enjoyed this.

A fundraising charity dinner was held in Birmingham on the 21st of February 2018 at Crystal Plaza Conference and Banqueting Suites. This event was organised by the ARM Trust Birmingham Team headed by Malik Iftikhar Ahmed.

Chaudhry Majid Nadeem Ahmed started the event with recitation from Quran. Malik Iftikhar Ahmed welcomed the audience and thanked the Birmingham team members Khadija, Zubair, Iffat, Ghazala and Iftikhar for helping him organise this wonderful and informative gathering. He also appreciated the support and donations by our donors which has turned the dream of hospital into a reality. Ex-councillor from Birmingham, Shafique Shah said a few words in support of hospital project and shared with audience and he has been supporting this project from the very start due to the commitment and honesty of Dr Atiq and the other members of ARM Trust Committee.

Dr Atiq-ur Rehman updated the audience on the progress made by the Bewal International Hospital. He commented on how the hospital is providing great quality healthcare to the local population. He said that the maternity department is functioning really well where over 700 caesarean section procedures have been performed in the hospital saving valuable lives and many more babies delivered through the normal child birth. He also informed the audience that the ARM Trust has been organising a Free Operation Hernia camp at the hospital on annual basis that started in March 2014 and 293 hernia procedures have been carried out over last 4 years. Dr Atiq also announced the start of Dialysis services at the hospital using 10 dialysis machines which have been recently exported from the UK.

Chaudhry Mohammed Saeed in his speech explained the benefits of charity donations and giving money in Allah’s way. The audience appreciated the efforts of ARM Trust and assured their full support to this project as always. People made generous donations and even the children put in their part.

Raffles and the colouring competition organised by the ARM Birmingham team were the main attraction for the guests especially children who seemed well happy with the prizes they won.

Dr Atiq-ur Rehman thanked the ARM Trust Central Committee members Iftikhar Ali, Chaudhry Majid Nadeem Ahmed, Chaudhry Mohammed Saeed, Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, Dr Khaleeq-ur Rehman and Faisal Iqbal for their ongoing efforts and support. He also appreciated the ARM Trust Birmingham team members Khadija, Zubair, Iffat, Ghazala and Iftikhar for organising another great event.

A team of UK surgeons is heading to Bewal International Hospital in April 2018 to perform a week of hernia surgical procedures and to train local surgeons. We would like to thank Prof Andrew Kingsnorth, his team and the volunteers who selected Pakistan for this great cause.

Dobarain Kalaan was the venue for a medical camp on the 12th Nov 2016 organised by Bewal International Hospital. Dr Atiq-Ur Rehman and his team of specialist provided free treatment and medicines for over 800 patients. The event was well received and was a great success. Most of the patients were very poor and benefited greatly from the camp and the free treatment provided. The team from Bewal International Hospital would like to thank all the staff and volunteers who participated and helped to make this event a success.

Bewal International Hospital central executive committee meeting was held in Birmingham on Saturday the 18th of January 2014. The committee members discussed last years progress and agreed on the strategy for coming year. The attendees included Dr Atiq-ur-Rehman, Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, Ch Mohammed Saeed, Ch Ishtiaq, Majid Ahmed, Iftikhar Ali, Dr Khaleeq-ur-Rehman and Faisal Iqbal.

A free medical camp was held at Bewal International Hospital in coordination with Maroof International Hospital Islamabad and Jang Cultural Wing.

Bewal international Hospital 5th Annual Charity Dinner was held in Woking (Surrey) and was well attended by over 300 people who had gathered for occasion from various parts of the country.

The event was organised by South Zone Committee of ARM Trust headed by Ch Mohammad Ishtiaq. Guest of honour at the occasion was Baroness Sayeeda Warsi. Ch Mohammad Ishtiaq welcomed the guests at the charity dinner and thanked media and South Zone Team especially Shahid Azeem for their support.

Dr Atiq-ur Rehman updated audience on current situation of the Bewal International Hospital. He commented on how the hospital is providing great quality healthcare to the local population and also highlighted the practical difficulties in arranging staff and equipment.

Dr Atiq-ur Rehman also thanked the UK public for their continuous support, which has made it possible to do everything and he promised to continue the hard work in order to provide best healthcare services at Bewal International Hospital.

Baroness Sayeeda Warsi deplored the media for what they had done to her in last few weeks and told she felt happy after being cleared. She also re-assured Dr Atiq-ur Rehman on her continued support for Bewal International Hospital and requested him to continue doing the good work he had started, the way he has always done.

There was a charity auction held for a Bat, Pakistani cricket shirt and boxing gloves.
