Blackburn Charity Dinner July 2009 - Another successful event

A charity dinner was organised in Blackburn on the 16th of July 2009 by Abdul Rehman Memorial Trust North Committee in aid of Bewal International Hospital project.

This event was well attended by about 200 men, women and children from Blackburn and surrounding areas of Accrington, Preston, Burnley, Nelson, Chorley, Manchester and Dewsbury.

Among the guests invited were Baroness Sayeeda Warsi (Shadow Minister for Community Cohesion and Social Action), Cllr James Hunt Hurst (Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen) and Lord Adam Patel (Lord of Blackburn).

Over £25,000 were raised in donations on the evening.

The ARM Trust committee wishes to thank all those who helped to make this function a great success.
