Birmingham Charity Dinner December 2008 |
Another charity dinner was organised in
Birmingham on the 8th of December 2008
by Abdul Rehman Memorial Trust in
aid of Bewal International Hospital
project.
This event was well
attended with over 200 men, women and
children, mainly from the business
community. The aim of this event was to
raise awareness about the ongoing
hospital project and to help raise more funds.
The event
started with recitation from the holy
Qur'an by Majid Nadeem Ahmed followed by an update on the
project from Dr Atiq-Ur Rehman and
speeches from few prominent guests.
The chief guest for the event was
Lord Mayor of Birmingham Cllr. Chauhdry
A. Rashid.
The ARM Trust committee wishes to thank
all those who helped to make this
function a great success.
