Birmingham Charity Function 2008 -
£40,000 raised |
Another big fundraising charity
event was organised in Birmingham on the
9th of March 2008 which was supported by
local Birmingham, surrounding Redditch
and Lye area's community. Approximately
£40,000 were raised on the evening.
The function was attended by Baroness
Saeeda Warsi, Shadow Minister for
Community Cohesion and Social Action. In
her address Baroness Saeeda Warsi
empathized the need of an hospital for
the local population and asked the
audience to join in this good cause.
Local Councillors, businessmen and
other respected member of community
deeply appreciated the need of hospital
in the area that will have an impact on
health promotion and assured their full
support.
The chairman of ARM
Trust thanked everyone for supporting
the cause.
